On arrival we have an easy to use, multi-lingual Self Check-in Machine which will recognise your booking number and program your room key card. Please have your passport or ID Card ready.  Check-in is available from 3pm.

Check-out is until 10.30am. Late check-out until 1pm is available on request, subject to availability (please contact the Guest Assistence number). The late check-out fee is 10% of the room night price.

All kitchens include cutlery & crockery, electric hob, oven/grill, fridge freezer and dishwasher.

All rooms inside the apartments have en-suite bathrooms.

A/C and heating in every room.

Every TV has its own dedicated MEO Android box, giving customers a choice of over 200 channels including in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese and Arabic. The TV's are also ready for you to easily sign in to Netflix using your own account login.

As is common in the historic town centers of Portugal, parking directly in front of the building is not possible. There is a short stay space 20m past the building where you can unload.

There are multiple locations for longer term parking within a few minutes walk, please see the map provided in our photographs. 

Rua Serpa Pinto is a narrow one-way cobbled street. There is no audible traffic noise in the Loft or Cellar apartments, but passing cars can be heard from the bedrooms in the First Floor and Ground Floor apartments.

The number of people that are permitted sleep in each apartment is listed above and on your booking. If you allow more people than this number stay overnight, without clearing it with us first, we will charge you €100 per night for each extra guest.

We are happy to clean the apartment after your visit, but we charge an minimum of €50 extra for apartments left in a real mess

We unfortunately don't allow pets.

The front bedroom of our ground floor apartment, has been designed to be extra spacious to help those with a wheelchair, prams or lots of luggage.  

Please note however that cobbled streets and hills of the old town are not the easiest for wheelchairs or those who find walking difficult. 

Please note, we do not have a lift and you will need to carry your own bags to your apartment.

Cancellation policy and refunds:

Refunds only available if another paid booking for same dates have been able to replace your booking.

Mira D'ouro Serta reserves the right to move your booking to a different date or an optional total refund if we get a double booking or a big group booking.

No form of glitter, small plastic particles or balloons are allowed.

Please respect our environment.·         

No loud noise or music·         

Breakage will be charged to the value of the damage·

Your stay and use of facilities and any other related activity is undertaken at the guest’s own risk and the owner and/it’s members and employees shall not be held liable for any claim regarding personal injury, illness, death or the like arising from any cause whatsoever, including vis major casus fortuitus or negligence in any form by the owners, it’s members, employees and/or agents, whilst staying in the cottages and/or reserve.
